[Well, that's...certainly a fine feathered friend, all right. The use of the nickname makes him smile, as it always does, but naturally he can't help but indulge his curiosity as he comes wandering over, his hands buried deep in his pockets.]

[ There's a certain mix of happiness, nostalgia and embarrassment that comes with the name Yatagarasu. It's a relic from their past, but for Yata the name isn't a way to escape reality or relive old times. Aliases are meant to cover their tracks, and names are meant to give power.
... There's something to be said about a guy who feels braver when you call him a mythological creature, but. Someone's out there watching every minute detail of the city's private lives. Who wouldn't be scared? And who could blame him for needing a little pick-me-up?

Have you considered setting a trap for him? Right now you're playing defense to whatever it is he might pull. Certainly there are issues of entrapment to consider, you'd have to be careful, but — you'll never overtake him, chasing him. You may need to ambush him instead.
